Wanting something a little different for the weekend? Seek out the roads less followed on-line.

Getting a little tired of the obvious? See what you can find (according to your interests) when you travel your own route in cyberspace.

At Grace Cathedral (San Francisco) they have a series of talks in their regular Forum series. The Forum has been operating for years and you will be amazed who they have had speaking at the Cathedral!

Looking for ideas for the family? Check out forums or blogs relating to your situation and you may well find something else which will help you with something else.
Are you a parent looking for some inspiration? Check out the Artful Parent blog and website. There's a lot of ideas at the website to inspire you even if you do not want to subscribe to the additional services.

And before I hear you cry out that all you've got at your house are colored pencils and paper, let me introduce you to my own personal artistic medium; Colored Pencils.

Then I will give you a challenge my own grandfather (an Australian Fine Artist/Tonalist and Impressionist) gave me as a child: Draw an apple. Then keep drawing them until you get it right.

Check out the work of colored pencil artists such as the highly inspirational artist, Ann Kullberg.

Enjoy!
